All ANC trails were groomed and track set overnight. We received substantial rain and melting over the last few days. This resulted in an extremely icy base. The trail was heavily tilled and renovated, but expect an icy base to the trail. you will encounter a mixed bag of conditions. There is full depth track in some areas and other areas track is shallow. Skate deck will be very hard packed in some areas and icy in other with loose sugar on top. There are 2 areas where water is running under the trail but they are easily avoidable as of 7am. We tried to complete grooming as close to opening as possible so everything didn’t refreeze. Please use discretion and ski within your abilities. One of the hill bypasses is not in very good shape but navigable . Thank you for your patience as we try to bring the trail back.
