The Final groom of the ANC Trail was performed over night with single track set. We received about 5.5” of fresh snow. This snow helped reopen the North trails, the high winds blew some snow off the icy trail in areas and drifted in others. For the most part the north trails have good coverage, some icy and hard pack areas still exist and are easily avoidable. The South loops are well covered and where the Technical snow depth is good the new snow was plowed and tilled. Expect some areas be soft with the new snow. Temps are expected to rapidly rise into the 40’s.
Get out and enjoy the last day.
Hours are reduced from 8-noon.
Thanks for a great season.
