We are opening!!!
The 3.5k of asphalt rollerski trails will open at 7am May 30th. The RFiD axess gate will be in operation and you will need to purchase a day, 2 day, seasonal or annual pass to access the trails. You may purchase at https://ariensnordic.com/passes/
And print your pass at the Pick up box located on the south side of the Trailhead building next to the doors. Just scan your QR code and it will drop your RFID tag. Otherwise you can wait till the trailhead building opens at 10am and work with one of our customer service staff to get you situated.
Please note that our trails have not received the final coat of asphalt which will be happening the week of June 12, there are some areas that have received some damage from construction equipment but are all avoidable and marked. Largely the trail surface is in great condition albeit a little dirty. Please ski with in your abilities and be aware that HELMETS ARE REQUIRED for rollerskiing. Please use proper trail etiquette when encountering other trail users and announce “on your left” when overtaking . Trails ski in a clockwise manner and signage is a little light as we complete the trail work, there are v boards out for directions at this time.
Thank you and welcome back to ANC.

The Final groom of the ANC Trail was performed over night with single track set. We received about 5.5” of fresh snow. This snow helped reopen the North trails, the high winds blew some snow off the icy trail in areas and drifted in others. For the most part the north trails have good coverage, some icy and hard pack areas still exist and are easily avoidable. The South loops are well covered and where the Technical snow depth is good the new snow was plowed and tilled. Expect some areas be soft with the new snow. Temps are expected to rapidly rise into the 40’s.
Get out and enjoy the last day.
Hours are reduced from 8-noon.
Thanks for a great season.

03/25/2023

The ANC trails were groomed and track set this am. Only the South loops are open. Expect transformed technical snow that will be covered with wet heavy snow as it falls. We are open 8a-4p today with food in the lodge.
Tomorrow will be our last open day from 8a -Noon..
Thank you

03/24/2023

The ANC trails were groomed and track set. The only trails available are the south 2k loops with full coverage. Skiing is not allowed on the north trails as the have had considerable melt and have frozen solid in areas. These areas are blocked with V-Boards. With warm temps expected we will be open 8a-noon today, we expect to be open Sat with the south 2k loops 8a-4p and will re-evaluate what trails will be open Sunday 8a-noon with new wet snow.
Thank you for your cooperation.

03/21/2023

The ANC trails will not be groomed tonight and will be closed Wed and thurs with the predicted rain and warm temps.
We will re evaluate Friday am.
Thank you for your patience.

03/21/2023

The ANC trails were groomed and track set early this am. All trails currently have good coverage and are very skiable.
We are in spring skiing hours now. We will be open 8am to noon each day. With warm afternoon temps and evening freezing the optimum time to ski will be mornings.
With Anticipated rain we will likely close the trails tomorrow ,Wednesday, and reevaluate for Thursday. Much of the north end of the trail is very thin and close to having nothing to till as ice has developed under the thin top layer from past rain events. Expect the latter part of the week to be only the south loops.
Thank you for your patience.
