
Biathlon Open Range
Biathlon Open Range Slot Times:
The biathlon range is available to participants in scheduled coach sessions and open range use time. Open range use time will be available beginning February 2023, and an availability calendar will be published. Participants must purchase a range annual pass or range daily ticket in person at Ariens Nordic Center to access the range. The biathlon range pass or ticket is specific to the range only. If access to Nordic center trails is also desired, a separate Nordic center pass or ticket is required.
To verify US Biathlon Credentials: Please fill out the following form to verify your USBA membership. The verification process takes up to two business days (Monday-Friday). If you do not already have an online profile, please create a profile here. Click on the Login button on the top right corner and press ‘register’. Individuals must register online in advance as there are limited time slots available. First come, first serve. Walk-in slots are not available.
The open range is available for people who are:
- Active US Biathlon Assn members (membership HERE).
- Must have a one-time US Biathlon Assn Red Book safety certification (classes are available at Ariens and other venues).
- During scheduled times when a Range Master is at the shooting range.
- .22LR bolt action rifle, subsonic bullets, magazine capacity 5 bullet maximum.
- 10 years or older - Minors must exhibit mature behavior.
- Minors (under age 18) must be accompanied by a range certified adult.
- Safety and liability waivers must be signed for all participants.
- No free shooting or non-biathlon shooting is allowed at Ariens Nordic Center.
