The 1.6k ANC trail was groomed and track set last night. . Extreme winds had caused considerable drifting so we groomed again this am. Expect the track to be filled in with snow in most areas and the skate deck to become very firm. Please be sure you are taking proper precautions as wind chills are expected to be -21. Hand warmers/toe warmers and face tape along with plenty of layers .
We will begin snowmaking on the south trails this week. The rest of the trails are not open and should not be skied. Some areas are down to bare ground with the extreme winds.
