The ANC trails were groomed and track set early Friday am. Snowmaking is underway and will be thru Saturday. We are closing the range for this process as we need the most snow on the shooting ramp. The range bypass is back in place heading north out of the stadium connecting to Mammoth or the Stadium cutoff. Plenty of options. With the wind speed and direction the will be some fine technical snow wash over the trail predominantly on the NW turn of Mammoth and coming out of the Stadium to connect with Mammoth.
Please be careful as the fine technical snow has very sharp crystal and has a sandpaper effect.

The ANC trails were groomed and track set. New wet snow falling currently will make for soft conditions. Snow making will resume tonight in the range for this weekends biathlon competition. Expect a trail change to accommodate range closure.

The ANC trails were groomed this am and track set. Track depth varies from full to shallow depending on overall trail depth. Track has been lifted in turning zones as well as leading into the range where we have to switch sides to accommodate biathlon mats.
2.4k trail will be open from 7am-12pm and will reopen at 4:30pm to 8pm to avoid the warmest temps of the day and preserve trail.
We made snow over night and some overspray got on the top of the mammoth return hill, please be aware that may be icy until we can groom it tonight.

The ANC trails were groomed and track set track depth varied s from full to shallow based on base thickness. The range is the thinnest area. Track has been lifted in turning zones where skis will not be able to stay in the tracks. Snow is fully transformed and will break down with use as the day progresses.

The ANC trails were groomed and track set. The track varies from full depth to shallow depending on over all snow depth. There is some dirt that has been tracked on to the trail that is easily avoidable. . Snow is fully transformed and will soften with temps and concentrated use. With daytime high temps up to 40 degrees we will be open till noon, close till 4pm at which point we will reopen to 8pm. We may repeat this daily based on temps. The ANc Trails were groomed early this AM and track set. Track varies from full to shallow depending on base composition and depth. The area thru the range is only inches deep with a hard icy base. The snow is fully transformed and will set up well in areas, other areas where we moved significant snow again this AM will be somewhat soft. Temps hovered around freezing as cloud cover never lifted and temps didn’t drop as expected. Expect conditions to soften as the day goes on.
