Update: we were able to move snow to the thinnest locations, this allows us to open the full 2.4k. There is one connector between the stadium and Mammoth loop that is impassable but looping from Slingshot thru the Range on Hotshot connecting to Mammoth will get you a full outer loop. The only drawback to moving this much snow is that it will be soft as we had to significantly alter the depth in some areas to get a full loop in. Also, more passes are needed as well as additional processing In order to get the snow to be homogenous. Freezing temps arrived later than expected. Most likely Saturday nights groom will help the process.
Look for soft conditions, loose fully transformed snow with some shallow track areas set.
Holding till 8am Saturday morning to give it a better chance to set up.

After significant melt ANC will have 1.6k of the south loops open at 8am. We are continuing to work on the north loops but there are substantial gaps that need snow. We are moving snow significant distance to open these loops but it may be Sunday before that can happen.
Expect soft conditions with some dirt spots that are avoidable.
Please be patient while we continue to rebuild…..again.

Friendly reminder trails are currently closed. They will be continue to be closed through Friday, 2/9 due to very warm temps and rain. We will evaluate late Friday evening and update as to what we will have open for weekend skiing. Thank you for understanding!

The ANC Trails are closed. They will be closed Thursday and Friday as well. With very warm temps and potential rain we need to preserve the trails . We will evaluate on Friday night and update as to what we will have available for weekend skiing.

The ANC trails were groomed and track set. With very warm temps, deteriorating conditions due to high use and freeze/thaw cycles we will be closing today, Tuesday 2/6 at noon . We will reevaluate on the weekend after the warmest temps and rain come thru. We will communicate a re-open plan as temps and conditions return to more winter-like conditions.

We will be closed Sunday, 2/4 after the races conclude due to deteriorating trail conditions to allow us to remediate. As of now, upcoming hours of operation….
