The ANC trails were groomed and track set.
With the potential snow coming we will likely not groom before opening as it will be an all day snow. We will roll the trails as the snow comes down and the wind increases which is supposed to be gusting to 30mph.
This snow is expected to be wet in nature as it will be close to the freezing point . This snow, like manmade needs to dry a bit before we get on it. As a result if you try and ski tomorrow it will be soft, we will start getting on the trail after the snow tapers off. This amount of snow will not likely allow us to open additional trails as we have equipment to the south and some manmade snow that is sitting on the trail. The ground on the north trails is very wet and saturated.
